Project Summary

Situated North of Port-au-Prince, Dulagon and Ti Bwa are rural communities in the district of Dessalines. The community primarily relies on farming for income and without electricity, famillies rely on wood and charcoal for cooking. In collaboration with the Off-Grid Energy Fund (OGEF) and Autorité Nationale de Régulation du Secteur (ANARSE), Alina Energy is deploying has deployed Mesh-Grids to 300 households. Each household connected to the Mesh-Grid has been provided two lights and one fan to help facilitate the transition to clean energy, and larger appliances will be introduced soon to help sustain productive use of energy.
